DEFINITION
The vestibuloplastia is a surgical procedure directed to correct the height of the mouth foyers. The foyer is the space placed between the lip and the gum.
SYMPTOMS
The patient recounts discomfort to take a removable prosthesis, generally finished, since one moves him on having spoken or on having eaten.
SKILL
A finished history and a meticulous exploration are fundamental to obtain a good diagnosis. It is necessary to realize previously an ortopantomografía. The different surgical skills try to obtain a major depth in the foyer. Most used they are:
- submucous vestibular deepening,

COMPLICATIONS
The complications that can appear before any vestibuloplastia are:
- haematomas,
- equimosis,
- hemorrhages,
- nervous injuries,
- parestesias,
- relapses of the surgical interventions.
