INDICATION
Whenever a patient presents an allergic illness that affects the low airlines (bronchial asthma), and is not controlled by adapted measurements of environmental control. The moment of the beginning of the immunotherapy is "as soon as possible" to avoid the development and the cronicidad of the process.
If the allergy fond only of top airlines (rinitis), it is indicated in the following cases:
- 1. Severity of the symptoms, for his (persistent) duration or for his (moderate - intense) intensity.
- 2. The symptomatic medication with antihistamines ó local steroids does not control the illness or I tolerated badly for the patient, that is to say that it does not expire with his target (in this case the treatments unreliable ones would remain included).
- 3. As the appearance of asthma or signs of asthma (nosturna cough, asthma for exercise, unspecific bronchial hyperreactivity) appears in 30 % of the patients with rinitis and that do not consult or deny that the asthma the antiallergic vaccines can have a preventive indication of the asthma.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
The absolute contraindications are:
- 1. Malignant illnesses, severe immunodeficiencies.
- 2. Patients in treatments with betabloqueantes, or that as cardiovascular diseases could have contraindications in the administration of adrenaline
- 3. Unreliable patients
The relative contraindications are:
- 1. Psychiatric illnesses
- 2. Asthma severe not controlled that with treatment do not have a VEMS superior to 70 % of the normal thing
- 3. Children younger than 5 years
- 4. I embarrass
