DEFINITION
The histrionic disorder of the personality is characterized by a widespread and excessive emotiveness and a behavior of search of attention on the part of those who are around.
HOW IS IT EVIDENT?

On the other hand, in all his actions they look for the immediate gratification, and when they begin to devote themselves to an activity, his interest disappears quickly. The histrionic ones usually present disorders of somatización and major depressive disorder.
PREDOMINANCE
As for the predominance, it is believed that approximately 2 - 3 % of the general population endures the histrionic disorder of the personality; and as for the sex, in the clinical ambience a major predominance has been observed in women, although in the general population it is believed that the differences between men and women are not significant.
