A skill proyectiva is a procedure of collection of information used by some psychologists, with a peculiarity: they introduce us to the deep and unconscious world of the individual. And since it can be this? From the projection. Whenever I answer to something I am reflecting something of me myself. From stimuli, suggestions, images... the imagination of the subject is stimulated. Also the procedure of application and interpretation of the answers is highly structured. It is essential that the psychologist who applies them to us is provided with a specializing formation and is an expert in it.
Although his origin is clinical and with practical ends, they are used also in other ambiences as in juridical psychology, criminology, selection of personnel, vocational orientation, neurology, school psychology...
Examples of skills proyectivas are: The test of Rorschach, which is provided with a series of plates with meaningless spots to which the person has to provide of meaning. The T.A.T or test of Apercepción Temática. It consists of visual stimuli with sense based on which the person has to construct a history. The test of the Family, in which one asks the person, generally a minor, to draw a family. The test of the People, in which from a big material quantity one asks him to the subject there to construct his own people (church, discotheque....) The graphology, the way in which we write is one of the forms in which we project ourselves and which it can be unmasked by a professional.
