- Eritema conjuntival,
- Hemorrhages conjuntivales.
DEFINITION
The red eyes can be seen in two situations:
- one when the blood glasses of the conjunctive one are extensive and by it they turn out to be redder for the presence of a major blood flow (injection conjuntival),
- another situation is when they appear you stain with color blood for small hemorrhages that persist inside the conjunctive one (hemorrhage subconjuntival).
INJECTION CONJUNTIVAL
When the eyes turn out to be red for excess of blood and very extensive glasses the conjunctive one turns out to be red instead of having his whitish color. In these cases the causes can be unimportant like a local traumatism, an annoyance for contaminated air or it can be secondary to allergic conjunctivites, infectious conjunctivites or for other underlying illnesses as they can be:
- Corneal graze
- Blefaritis
- Iritis
- Strange objects in the cornea and in the conjunctive one
- You ulcerate and corneal infections
- Uveítis.
HEMORRHAGE SUBCONJUNTIVAL
In this case they appear you stain with color blood in the shape of map for the dispersion of the blood on having gone out of the blood glasses, it usually appears spontaneously and for it the persons realize for surprise without seeing the possible beginning of the process. These hemorrhages usually do not have importance and owe in most cases to physical efforts, sudden accesses of cough, use of anticoagulant medicines, or without apparent cause. These small hemorrhages disappear spontaneously in some days.
TREATMENT
It is recommended to rest the eyes, to not to scratch them, and to hope a few days, if the problem does not eliminate to come to his ophthalmologist.
