A haematoma is an area of the skin that is dyed of red / blue with cold color and then parduzco - yellow to the step of the days, on having had blood in the textiles out of the blood stream due to a traumatism or some illness of the coagulation.

There can be haematomas under the skin and for it visible, that haematomas are authentic, but in other occasions they are deeper and appear in the muscular or enclosed textile in the surface of the bone (Periostio).

There can be more painful the deep ones (of the muscle and bone) and to last days or weeks.

The haematomas subcutaneous or under the skin it can give something of pain and local heat, but especially the changes of color are the pink, then blue with cold predominant, first symptom, it returns to brown color on having gone digesting the blood and then a yellow residual one.

The muscular haematomas usually give pain on having contracted the implied and weaker muscle in rest.

The haematomas periósticos or of the bone they are very painful and persistent.

In case this does not happen it is not necessary to drain, and it is necessary to leave the area in rest so that the causative hemorrhage of the haematoma does not persist, both in the superficial ones and in the deep ones (Muscular or bony).
