- Factor RH.
DEFINITION
The cell membran of the red globules contains in his surface different proteins, which ones are the persons in charge of the different types of blood. There exist principally two types of proteins that determine the type of blood, the protein A and the B.
TYPES OF GROUPS OF BLOOD
According to the different combinations of the proteins of the surface of the red globules they give like turned out 4 existing blood types:
- Group A: It has protein A in the surface of the red globule.
- Group B: It has protein B in the surface of the red globule.
- Group AB: It has both proteins A and B.
- Group O: It does not have any (To or B) in the surface of the red globule.
The rh is another protein that if it is present in the surface of the red globule will be rh positively and if it is absent, he is rh negatively.
Thus a person must have a blood type formed by the protein A, B ó the two and also it will be positive or negative Rh.
