DEFINITION
The gingivectomía is a surgical procedure for which (gum) extirpates the textile gingival injured. At present it is used for the treatment of: hiperplasia (growth) of the gum for medicines, fibrosis of the gum, bags supraóseas in difficult places, to improve the access in technical restorers who invade the space subgingival.
