DESCRIPTION
The gastroscopia is a method of exploration that is realized by a light pipe to see the mucous membrane of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum, in search of different possible alterations. The most common thing there is the observation of ulcers of stomach and of duodenum, but other possible reasons exist for the exploration as there can be polyps, varicose veins, and other injuries of more gravity. The pipe that interferes is thin, flexible and equipped with cold light that is transmitted by a glasses system to be able to see from the exterior what covers the top of the pipe or system of endoscopio.
Inside the pipe a space exists to introduce an auxiliary system to take biopsies (pieces or parts of mucous membrane) for his later analysis and to gather Helicobacter pilory cultivation.
