 INTRODUCTION
In this sheet we are going to exhibit the signs of alarm or suspicion of drug addiction in his son, normally adolescent.
The suspicion of use of drugs can be had when in his adolescent son they appear:
- Changes in the behavior: His adolescent son changes of sudden form his behavior, becomes more aggressive, has a more argumentative attitude with the relatives, finds it hard to him work to get up in the morning. The loss of interest in his favorite diversions.
- Familiar relation: An isolation appears and lacking in communication, it proves to be evasive when one asks him for his friends. The boy / girl, also, tries to avoid conversing with normality with his parents, before the fear of which his new habit is discovered. It begins to remain out of house throughout the day and brought in the night, without a clear reason existing. One notices and he appreciates a relation of continued lies. It neither realizes it nor takes responsibility of his normal familiar obligations, forgets...
- Academic achievement: His son / daughter begins to have problems of behavior in his school center, has a sudden descent in the academic achievement, has fights with partners, lacking in respect to teachers or pupils, and especially a school absenteeism appears.
- Personal friends: When his son / daughter breaks with ancient friends and initiates other piece of news, it begins to have a social life not known for his parents and friends of the whole life.
It has always to of be born in mind that these signs can make a mistake with normal attitudes in the stage of the adolescence, with the proper rebelliousness of this age, in an emulation for finding their own personality, as it it will have to have other "tests" before insulting the problem.
OTHER MORE ADVANCED SIGNS OF SUSPICION
- The increase of expense or "losses" of unjustified money.
- The appearance of rare situations as united language.
- The increase of the worry, the incapability to express clearly his ideas, with dreamy attitudes, the decrease in the concentration.
- The find of pills or substances that could look like drugs.
- The disappearance of drugs of the familiar first-aid kit or of the place where the medicines keep: especially tranquilizers ó pills of sleeping.
