 DEFINITION
It is the process in which the case history is gathered and the exploration of the patient is realized to be able to obtain the correct diagnosis of the suffering that it presents and be able to establish the most effective treatment. It is a fundamental procedure before any mouth intervention.
SKILL
One asks the patient on the process that it has led him to consulting, as well as on the precedents with regard to illnesses that he endures or has suffered and on treatments to which it is or has been submitted. Also there is practised the exploration of the oral structures and maxilofaciales, as well as of general aspects, in those occasions that are needed.
