In the cases that a major person needs to eat in his room the following procedures must take:

Good presentation

To verify that nothing is missing.

To place the salver in the table, leaving everything within reach of the elder and withdrawing the unnecessary thing.

It helps if he needs it:

Not to give him sensation fast.

To alternate solid food with liquids.

To introduce the meal and to place it in the later part of the language to facilitate the swallowing.

If it has difficulty to drink it is possible to give him the liquid with a straw.

To observe the ill quantity and difficulties to eat.

To communicate it to the nurse.

When it stops eating, withdrawing the salver and tools for his later cleanliness.

To ventilate the room.

To help him to realize the dental hygiene.

To leave him in position adapted for his digestion.

Before leaving the room to make sure that has everything necessary to his scope.
