DEFINITION
It is the surgery used to remove the veins that have inflated or been dilated about the year (haemorrhoids).
DESCRIPTION

The haemorrhoids is venous dilations (varicose veins) that, according to his location, qualify in two types:
- Internal haemorrhoids: Placed in the top part of the anal conduit (they are not visible unless they are prolapsadas).
- External haemorrhoids: Placed in the exterior part.
They take place for an increase of the pressure in the area, good for habitual constipation or during the pregnancies. The haemorrhoids can cause pain, hemorrhages, clots, and itch of the area of the year.
For the haemorrhoids intervention the patient can surrender to general anesthesia or to the local one (local anesthesia or spinal anesthesia) with sedation.
The extensive veins (haemorrhoids) come out and a bundle of sterile gasas gets into the area to diminish the hemorrhage. |

INDICATIONS
The haemorrhoids intervention is recommended when the medical treatments (diet rich in fibre, laxatives, suppositories, other medications, baths of seat...) have not managed turned out. In this case the symptoms will persist:
- Itch in the year.
- Anal hemorrhage.
- Pain.
- Presence of coagulated blood (thrombosis of the haemorrhoids).
EXPECTATIONS AFTER THE SURGERY
The result is very good in more than 90 % of the cases.
CONVALESCENCE
The patient can experience a strong pain after the surgery when it contracts or relaxes the year, by what analgesics must be administered.
To avoid the use of role on the year washes must be used in bidet after the defecation. Also the moderate baths will serve to diminish the painful contractions of the year, and they can calm the itch and the intense heat of the area.
It is possible to wait for a finished recovery in 2 weeks. RISKS

The changeability of every case is a fact being able to be considering to be a basic cost for 481,00 euros. for intervention without complications.
