 DEFINITION
They qualify in three groups: Digitáá Inotropos Adrenérgicos, and Inhibiting of the Fosfodiesterasa.
DIGITÁLICOS
They are prepared obtained of the digitalis (purple Digitalis, D. Lanata...) that are prescribed also to treat ear arrhythmias, since enlentecen the transmission of the bio-electrical impulses generated in the auricle. It is especially useful if the arrhythmia is causing heart failure, since the heart makes to beat better.
All the digitálicos have the same action mechanism, as well as the same indications: ear arrhythmias and congestive heart failure. The differences between the prepared ones that are commercialized have to do with the duration and rapidity of his action.
INOTROPOS ADRENÉRGICOS
They increase the force of contraction of the myocardium for stimulus of certain nervous recipients (beta1 adrenérgicos). They are used in his injectable form in emergency situations or when the oral therapy is insufficient.
INHIBITING OF FOSFODISTRERASA
They combine the action inotropa positive (they increase the force of contraction of the cardiac muscle) with the vasodilatadora. It was not possible to have demonstrated his long-term utility in the treatment of the congestive heart failure, therefore his use limits itself to sharp pictures of congestive heart failure, or that they do not answer to other treatments.
They must not be used in pictures characterized by low blood pressure.
