WHAT IS THE CALENDAR OF VACCINATION
When a population is had well studied, and it is known that bacteria or virus can exist in his habitual environment, is prepared this population to be immunized ó prepared to defend itself from the possible epidemics in his life environment.
The achievement of the obligatory vaccinations to a population takes as a primary target defending every individual against these infections, but the secondary target is to defend itself like set before massive epidemics, since one achieves that there do not exist persons who spread the illness.
The vaccination calendar is checked periodically by the public sanitary organizations evaluating the efficacy of every vaccine, the risks of the same ones, the needs for every vaccine in a population and the benefits of health and economic to obtain for his administration in big populations. By it there are not generalized other vaccines than in certain cases and moments (epidemics) they can indicate other vaccinations to located populations and temporarily.
The calendar of current vaccination in Spain is the recommended one by the Ministry of Health and I consume on November 19, 2003, and it has come into force on March 1, 2004. Source: www.msc.es.
