There are a group of medicines that act blocking the Prostaglandin synthesis and his effect is anti-inflammatory, analgesic (it diminishes the pain) and antipyretic (it lowers the fever). The products that have these properties are differentiated by us for his side effects and for the duration of the produced effect. The piroxicam allows only one daily capture, and other products like the diclofenac (in tablets of simple-minded liberation), the tenoxicam, the sulindac or the diflunisal, which are usually relatively well tolerated, are administered two times a day. 3 times they usually take the rest a day. The acid acetilsalicílico (AAS) keeps on being the election medicine under a strict cost / efficacy criterion like anti-inflammatory, but his big gastrointestinal effects have left him like one more alternative. The prepared micronizados, soluble or tamponados of A.A.S. (acetilsalicilato of lisina) they can improve the gastric tolerance. It is always necessary to bear in mind that they can produce stomachache, heaviness sensation in the stomach, acidity, morning sickness, vomiting, dizziness, headache, fatigue, sleep and increase of the quantity of urine in the night. Sometimes they can go so far as to produce ulcer of stomach, buzz of ears, dizziness (with high doses). More occasionally, eruptions in the skin and hives. And very rarely they produce alterations in the cells of the blood and in the coagulation. Nursing mothers must never happen in case of allergy to the medicine, asthma intolerantly to AINEs, peptic ulcer, pregnancy, and in paediatrics (except the paracetamol and diclofenac). It must be avoided to give fenilbutazona in case of cardiovascular diseases, in epilepsy and in patients treated with Insulin or antidiabetic. The fentiazac is dissuaded in the pregnancy, especially in the days previous to the childbearing for risk of uterine adinamia and premature closing of the arterial ductus. These medicines must not collaborate with oral anticoagulants, salt of lithium, digoxina, antihypertensive and diuretics, for increasing or reducing his effect. On having associated aceclofenac or piroxicam with AAS it is possible to reduce the effect of both. |
