DIET DURING THE FIRST YEAR OF LIFE

The last recommendations on the feeding during the first 5-6 months of life are that of feeding the baby with milk of the proper mother.
From 5-6 months it is necessary to initiate gradually the introduction of other food and if it is desirable, to change the maternal milk into an infantile formula of named of continuation-2. We must assure the ingestion of at least 500 c/c of milk a day.
The gluten (present protein in all the cereals except corn, rice and tapioca) must begin from the sixth complete month.
After the fish interferes, it is better to give it in the night, as dinner, 3 days a week. It bears a capture less milk, therefore the days that the baby should take fish we can offer him milk with cereals in the snack, instead of the fruit, to assure this way the contribution of at least half a liter of milk a day.
