• Allergy to the egg,
• Allergy to proteins of the egg,
• Allergy to the egg white,
• Allergy to the egg yolk.

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN

If it has an allergy diagnosis to the egg it will have to have the following precautions:

1. It will have to suppress of his diet all the eggs and derivatives.
2. Remember that the egg can be in:
   • Soups, broths or consommés clarified with egg.
   • Muffled up of meats, cold meat, hamburgers, croquettes, pies, etc...
   • Products of bakery, bread, rolls, pastries, cookies, custard, creme caramels, meringues, etc...
   • Sauces with egg in his composition, mayonnaise, tartar sauce, etc...
   • Ice creams and sherbets.
   • Products of milk mixed like punches of egg, commercial batters.
   • Drinks as the coffee or wines clarified with egg white, extracts of roots that contain egg as frothing agent.
   • Other egg sources are the macaroons, tagliatelle, nougat, caramels, many frozen plates.
3. All the tags of the foodstuff must be read to find out if they contain entire eggs, in dust or dehydrated, as well as albumin, given that it is impossible to enumerate a finished list of the products that contain egg. For it he must read the tags to insure itself of avoiding the food that contain any of the following ingredients:
   • Albumin.
   • Egg white.
   • Egg yolk.
   • Dehydrated egg.
   • Egg dust.
   • Solid eggs.
   • Substitutes of the egg.
   • Egg punch.
   • Globulin.
   • Livetina.
   • Lecitina that is not of soya.
   • Lisozima.
   • Mayonnaise.
   • Meringue.
   • Ovoalbúmina.
   • Ovomucina.
   • Ovomucoide.
   • Ovovitelina.
   • Simplesse ® (it is used like a substitute of the fat and is done by means of egg or the protein of the milk).
   • E-161b (luteína, yellow pigment).
   • The egg whites and the rinds can be used like substances clarificantes in soups, consommés, broths, sopitas and coffees, inclusive of certain wines. It must be cautious if these products are consumed.

VACCINES OF CONTENT IN PROTEINS OF EGG

The administration of vaccines prepared in embryos of chicken or duck like those of the flu, yellow fever or that of the anger, they can produce an allergic reaction to him. On the contrary the vaccines prepared in cultivation of cells diploides human (measles, German measles, parotiditis, etc.) are, free of ovoalbúmina and of components vitelinos (substances alergénicas of the egg).

It has not to of be vaccinating of:

• Anti-flu vaccines
• Vaccine of the yellow fever
• It vaccinates antimeasles
• It vaccinates antiparotiditis
• Viral triple vaccine (Measles - German measles - parotiditis). Low problems risk exists but they have been described, 97.5 % tolerates it.

At first it can be vaccinated of:

• DPT (diphtheria, lockjaw, tosferina)
• German measles
• Lockjaw

The viral triple vaccination in children allergic to the egg has been obtained with:

• Vaccine Triviraten ® Bern under control in the consultation.
• It is possible to realize in case of strict and necessary criterion of his pediatrician.

TREATMENT OF THE ANAFILAXIA IN CASE OF ACCIDENTAL INGESTION OF EGG

In case of an allergy of anaphylactic type to egg proteins, the child should take Adreject ® 0,15 cc.

In case of allergic reaction for the accidental ingestion of proteins of egg it is necessary to administer Adreject ® to dose of 0,15 cc (if the corporal weight is between 15 and 30 kg).

For children the appropriate dose can be 0,15 mg ó 0,3 mg, according to the corporal weight of the patient (0,01 mg/kg of corporal weight).

With the preloaded syringe (autoinjector) it has only to narrow against the EXTERNAL PART OF THE THIGH. There is no need for an exact laying.
NEVER REALIZE THE INJECTION IN THE BUTTOCK.
